After much preparation and anticipation, we finally had our extraordinary family Christmas dinner Saturday evening. It wasn’t necessarily all about Sicilian food, although the Sicilian Cassata was oustanding, but it was more about the fact that the majority of those present were Sicilians. Below is the menu which speaks for itself. Recipes may follow soon. It’s now time to “rest and digest” and enjoy the quiet beauty of the snow blizzard that’s upon us. Just thankful it wasn’t on Christmas day because everyone loves a white Xmas but not if you’re driving to your holiday dinner!
