We’re finally up and running!!!!
It seems like an eternity since we decided to start a food and photography blog. We’ve talked about it, we’ve looked at other blogs, and we’ve agonized over which blog software to use. Then we started to cook and create some examples of fine food photography. That was the fun part!
Essentially, that’s what we do best: Cook and photograph, and create memorable food gatherings. (Well, we’re pretty good at eating too) After years of cooking and enjoying fabulous food while traveling and at home, private cheffing and countless dinner parties, and in addition to Robert’s life time career as a photographer, we decided to share our diverse and sometimes quite amusing culinary experiences with you. We’ll never name names, we’ll never rant or slight, rather, we’ll offer our perspective on our cuisine, examples of our photography and food styling, our sense of entertaining and some of the fun events we’ve produced. In future posts, we will show you what we make in the kitchen (we’ll show you the kitchen, and the dining room too). We’ll talk about purveying and show you some of our favorite places to buy stuff. We’ll discuss how we create menus and how we put them together. And of course, we’ll talk about some extraordinary dinner parties, wine, food, more wine, and who knows what else.
So, enjoy your time here with us. Tell all your friends about us. And, hey, if you’re in the neighborhood, stop by for a meal … just don’t forget to bring a great bottle of wine.
